EmerginC Vitamin C + Retinol Mask

EmerginC Vitamin C + Retinol Mask - 50ml - $60 - a multi-purpose mask that's great for normal to oily skin or active acne that works on anti-aging, hyper-pigmentation and breakout skin care concerns.

An intensive mask, it has tiny micro beads of healing retinol suspended in a creamy, clay-based formula. The retinol bubbles dissolve on contact with skin, and immediately work to tighten and rejuvenate. For skin that is refined and renewed  leaving it soft and supple.

It's a 9-step treatment that left me refreshed and glowing:

1. Impurities and makeup are removed from eyes and lips with Aquatherm Sensitive Eye Makeup Remover - a gentle, effective gel  formulated with hamamelis water, pre-biotic sugars and pumpkin extract;

I am going to recommend for the peacefulness of your facial that you not going during the day on a Saturday - while the mall locations of CBV are very convenient, it also tends to make it very loud during busy periods - next time I'm going during the day on a Tuesday!

Test Driving - The Signature Facial by Caryl Baker

I had a chance to try the treatment myself and enjoyed a pampering hour with Nadia who is a Corporate Educator with Visage and really knows her stuff! Along with the expected cleansing, toning and exfoliating steps, the facial also features a couple of interesting and notable ones:

To  lift, regenerate and revitalize skin cells while reducing the appearance of fine lines and wrinkles. It's a cocoon like experience that they are happy to tweak if you are claustrophobic so you don't feel quite so mummified!

After any facial treatment at Visage they offer a makeup touch-up so you don't have to walk around with a bare face - so it's a testament to my results that I didn't want or need one - my skin looked so healthy and glowing that it would have been a crime to cover it - I did walk out with a nice bright Supertramp lip though, I'm not crazy!
