Corking pretty and comfy wedges from Nine West, Mark's and Town Shoes!

I bought my first pair of wedge shoes last year and I just love them!  I'm not much of a heel girl but I'm short.  The wedge is the perfect solution for those people such as myself who are both height and coordination challenged!  I noticed a lot of cork soled shoes in the spring magazines and decided it was a great place to combine two trends as I was determined that this year that I would pick myself up a couple more pairs of wedges.  Here's what I have my eye on so far.

Nine West - Firstup - $110 - black,. grey and medium pink suede, adjustable ankle strap.  They're pink and they're wedges - duh!  This one is a no brainer!





Mark's (formerly Marks Work Wearhouse)- Quad Comfort Daphne Wedge - $69.99 -  features a minimum of 4 components of comfort in every pair. These components include: Shock Absorption, Weight Distribution, Cushioning & Pressure Displacement, and Outsole Performance.   They aren't kidding about the comfort part!  I wore them on a marthon shopping trip and my feet were not the least bit sore at the end!  My mistake of course was fooling myself into thinking that it's warm enough to be wearing sandals already (it's not)!  But in a couple of months these will be making regular appearances when excessive walking is involved!



 



David Dixon at Town Shoes multi strap cork wedge - $120 - black or mustard leather.  Be sure and try these ones on first and take a good walk in them before you buy.  I am still on the fence about these ones because of all the thin straps.  I have visions of them digging into my feet!  I will need to take a good long cruise around the store in them before I render a final verdict!





Nine West - Earla - $90 - black or light brown suede or bronze metallic. - I love these - they are so simple and chic looking!
