Day 28 - BE BOLD - Youth is you!
Rediscover a piece of clothing you wore when you were a teenager or borrow one from your
daughter and wear it!
What are these Lise Watier people smoking? I was a teenager in the eighties, did they not see the misguided fashions we had then? Nobody wants to see me wandering around town in lace Madonna gloves, stirrup pants and a torn up Flashdance sweatshirt.
And please make sure you come back tomorrow, for a review of our 28 days together, the creams and of course, the winner!

Just wondering where I'm going to find elephant bells, love beads and a an Indian headband. Ah, the 60's!
ReplyDeleteI still have my Grade 8 graduation dress (from the early 90's). It was made of royal blue taffeta. I can still get into it but it is tight and I would never wear it again. Not sure why I still keep it!
ReplyDeleteI was going through my closet and found a shirt I wore when I was a teenager. It was my favorite shirt but not suprisely to me it didn't fit me anymore.
ReplyDeleteWhen I was younger I was obsessed with Mexx clothing --- in my closet I still have a skirt from when I was younger. The matching jacket was outdated and donated a long time ago but I still wear and fit the skirt :)
ReplyDeleteI used to love this old pair of jeans I wore when I was a teen. I wore them so much they tore big holes in the knees. I patched them up because I didn't want to have to throw them away! I still have them but the zipper is broken. I still plan on fixing them :)
ReplyDeleteI don't have anything I wore when I was younger (thank goodness!). But I went through the baggy pant phase. Not to the point of showing my uh, underwear (gag), but baggy enough that I now wonder what was I thinking?? :/
ReplyDeleteTHANK YOU! alisonad23 at gmail dot com
I don't mind wearing anything from the 80's IF it would fit, lol - Yep, I gained a few sizes since. But the 80's are not an incentive, you're absolutely right!

I don't keep stuff that long either :-) But it is fun to dress younger than your age sometimes
ReplyDeleteI follow as /\Heather/\
ReplyDeleteI loved most of the 80s stuff, especially scrunchies in a side ponytail and legwarmers. I keep seeing legwarmers in the stores and it makes me giggle. Anyway, side ponytail today.
I found a pink jumpsuit and it still fit. =)
ReplyDeleteI love coming across old stuff. I was such an 80s fashion queen! Alas, none of it fits any more :-(
ReplyDeleteI was inspired by Edie Sedgwick. I had a difficult time finding my style because at the time it just wasn't popular. But one thing is for certain, black tights are the best!! they are practical and warm. They are still a main staple in my wardrobe. msmith572@yahoo.com
