Day 6 - LIFESTYLE - Hello closet!
Spend 15 minutes of your day cleaning up your closet!
I'm sure it looks something like Mariah's closet does here, so be sure to to get the help to give you a hand!
I will spend my 15 minutes vowing to get rid of my too small clothes and not actually do it (again)! What are your closet plans?

I agree spend way too much time thinking & not doing
ReplyDeleteHopefully I will actually do something today
I'll spend some time organizing my closet today as well, it needs it!
ReplyDeleteMy problem is that I'd need 15 minutes multiplied by a thousand to sort out my closet... And just thinking about it makes me not want to do it!

What a coincidence! I'm taking a break right now from cleaning out my closet. I want to get my house ready to sell and thought I'd tackle my closet today.

I actually spent some time this week cleaning my closet and getting rid of clothes I no longer wear. I have to be more ruthless though and get rid of more clothing.

I'm going to take the clothes on my bed and put them...in my closet! I know...truly fantastic right? Baby steps. Eventually, the stuff on the hangers will be more than the stuff on the closet floor!

Thanks for the great ideas!
ReplyDeleteMy closet looks so much better!

The way that works for me is every day that I open my closet, I choose what I need to wear. If for some reason , it doesn't fit, outdated or even stained, I toss it in a bag that I have underneath the bed, lol. So yes, 15 minutes at the time should be enough.

I ask my sister to help me clean my closet. She takes some clothes off my back :-) and I get to re-shape it with new clothes. It takes my sister 15 minutes or less - One would think I'm running a clearance sale!
ReplyDeleteWhenever I wear something I don't like, I don't put it back in my closet. NO, I put it in a suitcase so I can take a look at later on in the year. Maybe I'll change my mind but so far, I never did and I manage to fill my suitcase up and give the whole content right after the Fall.

Yeah sure my closet looks just like Mariah's closet. I wish! If i spent 15 minutes a day cleaning my closet i would never have this absolute mess on my hands. But today i will spend 15 minutes trying to get some of the clutter out of the way, msmith572@yahoo.com
ReplyDeleteI am going to tackle my front hall closet -- the weather is changing and I can put away all of all the winter clothing and get rid of shoes and stuff my kids have worn out or out grown. Thanks for the great idea!!! Sorry I posted today but I have not been able to access the appropriate dates for several days:(
ReplyDeleteI just started this yesterday - nice coincidence. I'm giving away the clothes I haven't worn for a year or more, and then I'll tackle the kids clothes - worn out or grown out, it'll all be thrown out!
ReplyDeleteClearing out the clothes is really lethargic and beneficial! And the clothes will go to other through Good Will!
ReplyDeleteFirst step will be to get rid of everything that's torn or stained.
ReplyDeleteDay 7 has not worked for me. But I can tell you that here in Quebec, Lise Watier is really loved.
