You'll want to be stung by Rodial Bee Venom!

If you've ever been stung by a bee then you know how puffy that area gets which is what a new product from Rodial has harnessed, in a much more pleasurable way then being stung by thousands of bees of course...

Bee Venom helps to increase blood flow to the skin and provide a plumping effect to reduce the appearance of wrinkles. It seems that honey bee venom fools the skin into thinking it has been stung with the melittin toxin, which forces the body to produce collagen and elastin (two key components of healthy skin) in the affected area. This works in synergy with a unique complex of plant stem cells to help visibly improve skin tone and elasticity.

Bee Venom Super Serum - 30ml - $200 - a concentrated skin-perfecting serum that illuminates and revitalises skin. Includes Cyclopeptide-5 to help correct skin tone and plump and smooth the appearance of fine lines and wrinkles while Bio Marine Collagen 6 helps to enhance skin elasticity and MariMoist provides immediate and long-lasting hydration for a radiant complexion.

Bee Venom Moisturiser - 50ml - $190 - with an advanced formula that revitalises and renews for naturally younger looking skin. Includes Cyclopeptide-5 and Juvinity to refine the skin's surface and help plump and smooth the appearance of fine lines and wrinkles while Hyaluronic Acid provides intensive moisturisation and long-lasting hydration for a radiant complexion.

Bee Venom Eye - 25ml - $140 - especially designed for the eye area. With Cyclopeptide-5 to smooth the appearance of fine lines and wrinkles around the delicate eye area and Haloxyl to diminish the appearance of dark circles for a brighter, wide-awake look.

The products have a lovely feel to them and I know that bee venom doesn't smell like honey but for some reason I kept expecting the creams would (they don't) - they don't actually have much of a scent at all. One caution for my oily and combination skinned friends, the moisturiser has quite a rich texture that I found to be too much for me - I didn't have a chance to try the serum but I expect that would be much for suitable for my skin type - dry skin will love the moisturiser so go for it!

Available now at Murale.
