Fragrant Friday - L'Occitane Roses et Reines

It's been ten years and it was time for a change - formally known as L'Occitane Rose 4 Reines is now:

L'Occitane Roses et Reines - 75ml EDT - $50, 250ml Beautifying Body Milk - $32, 30ml Hand & Nail Cream - $12, 310g Bath Salts - $24 - a soft, elegant fragrance with fresh fruity accents with top notes of bergamot and blackcurrant leaves; heart notes with four varieties of roses from Bulgaria, Turkey, Grasse and Morocco, rose extract, raspberry and blackberry; and woody base notes of white cedar, heliotrope and musk.

I'm not a floral person but I can appreciate that the rose in this scent doesn't smell unpleasant the way some fragrances do thanks to a new scent-extraction method that L'Occitane employs which combines a high-tech ecological extraction process with the traditional enfleurage technique, which consists of extracting the freshness of the natural essence of flowers as soon as they are harvested - which is particularly suitable for the rose which is extremely delicate.

Available now at L'Occitane boutiques across Canada.
