Fragrant Friday - Gucci Bloom

Gucci debuts their first fragrance by new creative director, Alessandro Michele and blended by master perfumer Alberto Morillas:

Gucci Bloom - 30ml EDP - $90, 50ml EDP - $114, 100ml EDP - $154 -  created to unfold like its name, the scent was envisioned as a thriving garden full of diverse types of flowers and the rich perfume they emit. Chock-full of highly-concentrated natural ingredients including: natural tuberose absolute harvested from India interlaced with natural jasmine absolute; along with  jasmine bud extract, obtained through an exclusive method of co-extraction that blends a natural quality of jasmine and captive molecules to impart a fresh green and petal scent on the skin. The fragrance also features an ingredient that is a first in perfume making, the Rangoon creeper - discovered in South India, it embodies the scent’s concept and name, with flowers that change colour from white, gradually darken to pink then finally to red when they bloom - and are redolent with a slightly powdery feminine floral perfume.

It is a very feminine scent that brings me back to summer evenings spent in my grandmother's garden - what  I really love is the vintage powder pink lacquered porcelain bottle, that feels antique and modern at the same time!

Available now Hudson's Bay, Shoppers Drug Mart Beauty Boutique and Sephora stores across Canada.
