I think we are all in agreement that the worse thing you can do for your eyes, lashes and skin around the eyes is rub too vigorously when trying to remove makeup. Of course with the heavy duty makeup formulas out there now this is sometimes easier said then done so you need a makeup remover that's up to the job! Even when not wearing waterproof makeup my preference is to still use a remover intended for it. They tend to be the dual-action formulas that you need to shake first before using and I find the oil phase critical to being able to remove the makeup without having to rub!

Eye Love Wednesday - MaxEffects by Taiga 2in1 Eye and Face Makeup Remover

As anyone with a Clarisonic knows, foundation is not the brushes friend! When you're wearing foundation and you clean your face, it gets all gunked up inside the brush and you basically end up having to clean the brush after cleaning your face!

A great tip I got when getting a Clarisonic facial was to use a cleansing water to wipe the foundation off my face first before cleaning with the Clarisonic itself which is great but of course adds another step as I still also need to use an eye makeup remover which is why I am loving my new:
