This week I'm obsessed with... LUSH Blousey Shampoo!

I'm a longtime fan of LUSH bath bombs and other bath products but strangely I have never tried their shampoo. It probably has something to do with the pot design, there is just something strange to me about scooping out shampoo with my hand...

There are a couple of things about this one that make me decide that I had to get over my weird prejudices and give it a try: it's gentle and non-stripping on hair that is over-processed, coloured, bleached and fragile which sounded great from my fine, coloured hair and the scent - such a great smell!

LUSH Blousey Shampoo - 240g - $25.95 - chock full of fresh bananas, cocoa and cupuacu butter for deep moisturization without stripping colour as well as organic cloves, star anise and pimento decoction for shine and a healthy scalp.

My hair feels soft, looks healthy and my colour does seem to last longer so I'm going to believe that it's helping preserve it!

And of course the scent - inspired by British hedgerows - rose, blackcurrant, rosemary and juniperberry - I've never walked through a hedgerow but if this is what they really smell like, I'm all for planting one!

Available in-store and online at www.lush.ca - and here's something I never knew - LUSH has a recycling program - bring back 5 clean full-size pots or tubes and get yourself a free fresh mask!
