Yves Saint Laurent - the eyes have it for Spring 2011

Eye makeup is my favourite kind of makeup so when a whole line of new eye shadows and liners come out, I'm in heaven - and when it's a luxe line like YSL - double heaven!
Pure Chromatics Wet and Dry Eye Shadow - $74 - formulated with water which allows for an exceptional concentration of pearls and pigments (50% more compared to traditional pressed powders).  Applied dry they melt into the skin, creating a soft and silky halo around the eyes or apply with water for even more intense colour and the chromatic power is increased for an intense metallic finish.

I like that they've given you one really dark colour in each palette that you can wet and use as a liner!

The palettes just seem to be numbered with no names - which is too bad, I like names! And of course the packaging is as gorgeous as you would expect it to be!

Dessin du Regard Waterproof - $30 - in 6 regular and 1 limited edition shade:
No 1 - Black Ink
No 2 - Patent Leather
No 3 - Ultramarine
No 5 - Shimmering Burgundy
No 6 - Amazon Green
No 7 - Absinthe Green - Limited Edition

Available at Holt Renfrew and selected The Bay and Murale stores.
