Dior Capture Totale Serum de Teint SPF 15 - 30ml - a revolutionary serum foundation that gives skin a radiant, high definition perfection in every dimension. It contains a broad band of multi-toned pigments that create a more subtle, real, and natural effect than the four-part pigment palette (red/yellow/white/black) usually used in foundation. It also treats all the signs of aging, boosts collagen, nourishes, replenishes, and plumps skin. It's ideal for mature skin, dry skin, or dull skin that lacks radiance.
I tried the lightest colour 010 which is a perfect match. Because it's also a serum, I found the formula to be much thinner than I usually find foundations to be which is actually really great for the summer as it gives it a super light "no-foundation" feeling.
VS
Clarins Skin Illusion Natural Radiance Foundation SPF 10 - 30ml - has a Light-Optimizing+ Complex to capture, diffuse and intensify light immediately. Fine lines and wrinkles are smoothed away for an even, radiant complexion. Contains a Silicium mineral extract to hydrate and tone the skin and deliver a feeling of suppleness and comfort as well as a plant-based micro-patch that acts like a reservoir providing time-release hydration to keep skin supple, replenished and comfortable all day long.
I went with the lightest shade 103 Ivory and since my last Clarins foundation was this same shade I knew it would work. It feels nice on and blends very easily.
These two actually have a lot in common including a pump bottle and a rather strong smell - which I could live without! I had expected I would like the Clarins best but I'm going to have to go with the Dior - it's just so natural and light feeling and makes my skin look so damn good and glowy that I can't not pick it!
I am out of new foundations to try so feel free to look back at some of the previous battles!

I've tried the Dior one and I found that the initial finish of this foundation is beautiful!! absolutely perfect! But this foundation also cakes up like crazy on me later in the day :( So I didn't buy it T__T
ReplyDeleteI have the same problem with pretty much all foundations - foundation primer has been my savior for this issue!
