This week I'm obsessed with... Lancôme Ô d'Azur!

The very first real fragrance I ever owned was Ô De Lancôme - I don't want to say how long ago that was, let's just say it's been awhile. So it was with nostalgic interest that I heard that not only has the original had a bottle facelift but also has a new interpretation Ô d'Azur!

I really liked the original fragrance because of how fresh it smells: it has top notes of lemon, mandarin orange and bergamot; heart notes of honeysuckle, rosemary and jasmine; with a base of patchouli oil and vetiver.

Lancôme Ô d'Azur has the same citrus top notes with the addition of Calabrian lemon essence; heart notes of Turkish damask rose, peony and Ecuadorian pink pepper; and a deep, luminous and subtle woody base.
You can find both scents at your usual Lancôme counter or at lancome.ca - 75ml - $54.

I still have a big bottle of the original fragrance on my dressing table (not the same one) and it has now been joined by the new one, which while similar, smells more summery to me! I love that they have come out with something new but not taken away the original which I still love!

  2. I have no problem with the scent staying for me - I would probably say the new one is not as strong as the original but that that's what gives it more of a summer feel!
