As with all YSL products, the packaging is stunning - I especially like that they have the colour window in the front that is not only great for knowing how much product you have left but also makes it easier to figure out which colour it is if you have more than one! The tapered brush is also great for precise application - I put it on just using the applicator with no additional help from my lip brush and it went on perfectly!

Of course it's easy to put a lip colour on and have look all nice and pretty for a picture that you take 10 minutes later but I wondered if it could live up to all of it's promises so I decided to take these swatch pictures after it had actually been on my lips for the day.

14 Fuchsia Doré - 6 hours of wear and the colour is still vibrant and very shiny! I was at work and I skipped lunch but I did drink a lot of water and yelled at a bunch of people so my lips got a decent workout!

9 Rouge Laqué - to see if it would run I applied it on the inside of my lip line to see if it would migrate throughout the day - as you can see, it didn't - you can still see the bare line around the bottom of my lip - I did have one lady at the grocery store point out that I missed part of my mouth with my lipstick and she didn't seem to understand when I explained to her that it was for the benefit of science!

This one got more of a workout then the first one did so it didn't stay quite as glossy and you can see a bit of the colour on my bottom lip has disappeared but it did make it through the gym, shopping and a greasy lunch without any touchups!

Overall I am very impressed with how well they both wore - if you like the idea of a lip colour that will last but don't like how drying many of the all-day wear types are, you will want to check this one out!
