Looking to get Nude for the winter? Dior can help with two new foundations!

If you've been in your local Sephora lately, you may have noticed that Dior has added a couple of products to their Nude makeup line:

Diorskin Nude Natural Glow Creme-Gel Makeup - $52 - It comes in six shades: 010 Ivory, 020 Light Beige, 030 Medium Beige, 040 Honey Beige, 050 Dark Beige and 070 Dark Brown - what is new and different about this one is the Active Mineralized Water it contains which is ten times more concentrated with skincare active ingredients.  A new technological process allows the texture to imprison Active Mineralized Water droplets that are bonded to powders.  Once in contact with the skin, the active ingredients are gradually released.  The case contains a double-sided applicator with a velvet side for gentle application and a sponge side to blend and even out.

With the change in seasons, I thought this was the perfect time to try a new foundation as the one I have been using was quite light and I have to say, I really like the texture of this one - it is a little heavier then my normal liquid but it kind of melts into my skin so it doesn't feel heavy on my skin at all.  I didn't care of the sponge applicator so I have been using a foundation brush with it which works fine.  My only complaint is the same as it is with most foundations with such a limited shade range - the lightest shade is a touch too dark for my skin, it's not terrible and with mindful blending along the jawline it works but I would love to see a shade below ivory!

Also new is the Crystal Nude Natural Matte Skin Perfecter - $42 - it's exclusive to Sephora and is a totally translucent and invisible universal formula to diminish defects and matify the complexion for flawless looking skin.
And of course you can still find all your favourites: Diorskin Nude Natural Glow Hydrating Makeup SPF 10 - $47 - I love this one and especially appreciate that it comes in such a great shade range!
Diorskin Nude Natural Glow Fresh Powder Makeup - $47 - a silky-finish loose powder foundation.

Diorskin Nude Skin-Perfecting Hydrating Concealer - $30 - for natural correction of dark areas and perfect moisture.

Are you already a fan of Dior foundations?  Let us know which is your fave!

  1. They do look enticing!
I normally wear estee lauder double wear.
I used to use Dior for years, most of my beauty products were from them, but I think I kind of stopped when they stopped doing free GWPs... they were the best!

  2. I totally agree with you about GWP's - I won't buy Clinique or Lancome unless there is a free gift so I wonder why I am willing to shell out for Dior without one? They need to change that - I remember getting a Dior GWP at Sears once but that is the only time and it was a looooong time ago!

    Best, Lisamarie
