Have you ever thought about wearing textile waste? (No, I'm not talking about Lisamarie's latest sewing project, or Project Runway's leftovers)
The words "Textile waste" may not sound terribly appealing but H & M has come up with a Conscious Collection, using recycled polyester made from PET bottles and organic linen, and created a cute summer collection at the same time. Incorporating more sustainable materials is definitely a step in the right direction, even if it's a small one, as every little bit helps.
So next time Lisamarie nags me about recycling, I will just do it and think of
