Bourjois Paris introduces me to lipsology and their Sweet Kiss lipsticks!

I have heard of reading palms, tea leaves and tarot cards but I wasn't aware up until now that you could read a person's lipstick print. It's called lipsology my friends, and a couple of weeks back I had the opportunity to meet Lipsologist, Jilly Eddy and have a lip print reading!

You can get more info about Jilly, Lipsology or to book yourself a reading at www.lipsology.com

It's easy to do, just kiss a card a couple of times and all your secrets are revealed!

As you can see my print is very faint which means I have "ghost lips" which tells her I am overworked!  She prescribed me a spa vacation which is one prescription I will be thrilled to get filled!  I will obviously have to make Christelle work harder before my lips disappear!

The event was to celebrate Bourjois Sweet Kiss Lipstick - $18 - in 14 shades: Beige Elégant #41, Rose Habillé #42, Rose Pomponné #43, Praline Distingué #44, Orangé Appreté #45, Rosé Corset #46, Rosé Paré #47, Rosé Alluré #49, Rosé Séduisant #51, Brun Orné #52, Brique Chic #53, Rouge Glamour #54, Rouge Sure Mesure #56, Fuchsia Class #57 - they are super moisturizing thanks to the unique complex of waxes and Argan Oil they contain which is perfect for the cold weather that we are already getting a taste of! It really is a smooth feeling lipstick, like a really moisturizing balm but with the added benefit of colour!

And of course if you want super glossiness, you can just add a bit of gloss on top!  Choose from Effet 3D Lipgloss - $18 - for an ultra plump lip effect, Effet Gloss Menthol - $18 - for fresh breath, Effet 3D Max Lipgloss - $20 - for maximum shine!
If you are going to wear the gloss over the lipstick, I am recommending that you use a reverse lipliner around your lips or go really easy on the gloss - this is not the kind of lipstick that you need to add extra moisture to and when you add the gloss I found it moved around a bit more then I was used to.  With the reverse lipliner it stayed where I wanted it to.

Available exclusively at select Shoppers Drug Mart and Murale stores across Canada.

  1. Just the best kept beauty secret! It's a clear lipliner that you apply around the outside of your lipline. Benefit makes a great one - d'finer d'liner or if you like a thin one, L'Oreal has one too - I think they call it a clear lipliner. Basically it just keeps your gloss or lipstick from bleeding outside of your lipline. HTH!

  3. I have had a thing for orange lipsticks lately, I will have to check that one out! The only thing I am finding with orange is your teeth need to be super white or it makes them look yellowish!
