Cold weather saviours from Vivaderm, Biotherm, mark. and The Body Shop!

Fall is here which means something is not too far behind! I don't like to say the "w" word but it's coming my friends! Even with a slight dip in temperature, I will start to feel the difference in my skin so I've been hunting around to find the latest and greatest in cold weather protection!

Vivaderm Ultra Cream - 75ml - $16.40 - use on dry skin 3 times a day until the skin is feeling softer and smoother then switch to - Vivaderm Daily Cream - 200ml - $17.95 - Best used as a two-step system for those who suffer from exceptionally dry skin and prefer a more natural product. They include calendula, witch hazel and butcher's broom and don't have any parabens, artificial perfumes, colours or paraffins.

I had a sample of it to try but even during the coldest days of winter, the skin on my face is never overly dry - but my hands and feet, that's another story! On the hottest days of the year I can have lizard skin so I thought that would be a great place to test them out - results: much less lizardy right away and after a week - soft and smooth!

If you are sensitive to scents, you will appreciate the very light, natural way that these creams smell too!

Available at www.eBeauty.ca. This is a great time to pick them up too - they have free shipping with a $25 order going on now!

Biotherm Beurre de Levres - 13ml - $20 - this is a must-have for dry and chapped lips! Contains 5 natural oils: apricot, coriandre, jojoba, passionflower and macadamia to repair, nourish and comfort the lips as well as Acacia biosugar to eliminate dead skin cells which will keep the lips smooth and soft.

And if you're looking to keep the Biotherm love going and eliminate dry winter skin, don't forget about the new Biotherm Beurre Corporel - did I mention it smells amazing!?
mark. Change Is Gonna Come Foaming Body Exfoliator - 200ml - $15 - I'm a great believer in moisturizing deep and exfoliating gently - especially during the cold months! Made with Fair Trade Certified brown sugar and vanilla as well as walnut shell powder and vitamin E it immediately exfoliates to reveal softer, smoother skin. Best thing though is the lather, I've never used an exfoliator before that foams and I like!

Available from your Avon rep - 1-800-265-AVON or online at www.avon.ca.
The Body Shop Rainforest Moisture Shampoo and Conditioner for Dry Hair - 250ml - $10 -  restores moisture and improves the hair's softness without weighing it down, for a smooth and shiny finish without silicones, sulphates, parabens or colorants. With pracaxi oil, manketti nut oil and Community Trade honey and sugar. My only caution is go easy with the conditioner, when I use the right amount my hair is soft and shiny, when I use too much it looks greasy!
