Show your support for Melanoma Research and be rewarded for your efforts with our SkinCeuticals Contest!

To show their deep commitment to skin health and skin cancer research, SkinCeuticals Canada recently announced their partnership with Melanoma Research Alliance (MRA), the U.S. based organization working to accelerate progress towards a cure for melanoma. Over the next three years, SkinCeuticals will donate over $225,000 to MRA to fund an innovative young researcher in the field.

If you're in the market for a new serum or sunscreen you'll want to know that until June 30th SkinCeuticals Canada will donate funds raised from the sale of its antioxidants ($3) and its sunscreens ($1) to MRA.

As well, SkinCeuticals Canada has an awareness campaign in addition to raising funds to support MRA’s research on its Facebook page - (https://www.facebook.com/SkinCeuticals.Canada?sk=app_376047419177068), where SkinCeuticals Canada Facebook fans are urged to share their thoughts or experiences with melanoma and their wishes for a cure. SkinCeuticals Canada will donate $20 for every video and $2 for every story fans share on their Facebook page.

We know Beauty Crazed readers are a great and caring bunch so will be right in there sharing their videos and stories and because we like to reward you for being wonderful, we're adding an incentive in the form of a prize...

Prevent and Protect with the double defense wonderfulness of SkinCeuticals Phloretin CF and Physical Fusion UV Defense  - valued at over $200! Want it? Of course you do! Read on to find out how...

  1. I'm 47 now and didn't wear sunscreen in my 20's and 30's because it always made my skin break out. I have significant sun damage now and regret that. I wear an spf50 and there are a lot more great sunscreens on the market now thank goodness. I'll never be without it now.

I follow on google friend and can be reached at stlantz (at)gmail(dot)com

  8. My commentary: I am very careful about protecting my self and my kids when out and about in the sun, as we are all pretty fair-skinned. Physical Fusion UV Defense SPF50 is one of the key products in my armatorium across sun damage! I also insist on hats and sunglasses! Heidi Carlson-Reid

  10. I follow through GFC.
I visited the facebook page and posted a testimonial:
I've always protected my skin from uva and uvb rays. I were sunscreen and stay shaded whenever possible. I promote this to others too. Then a few years ago, I met someone who had melanoma on their face who supported the same safe message as I. It made me feel good creating a united front, so to speak, to get this important message to others.

    Twitter: I tweeted (theninemuses).

Email: I'll send you this post via email. Posted as Paulina K.

My testimonial is a comment. I enjoy the outdoors very much and have a vast supply of sunscreen lotion SPF 35 and 50. I apply it twice daily, rain or shine and it has become a very good routine for me. For sure, I will always be on the look-out for great products that promote barriers against all skin devastations such as Melanoma.
