I'm a big fan of the original Smoky Lash so I was excited to try this new version. It does offer nice length and definition...
and the colour really is ultra-black and not the wishy-washy black that some mascaras are..
and even with 2 coats my lashes don't look clumpy!
One thing I don't love is the brush - it has a tapered end so that you can get at the smaller lashes but I find the excess mascara collects there and adds blobs to the small lashes instead of even colour - so give the end a wipe on the tube first to avoid making a mess!
This one isn't replacing the original in my heart but a new boy always makes you realize how much you appreciate all the good qualities of the old one!

I tried this mascara and although I thought it was good, it's not my favourite. I have tried others that blew me away more than this one. With that being said, I did try it on my friend's lashes and they made hers look amazing, so it must be different for everyone.
