There are different ways you can use the product - by spraying directly on the hair or spray on your brush and then brushing it through the hair. I like the brush method because I feel like I get more even distribution even in the back. I also add a spray of it to my hair gel - I take a dab of gel in my palm, add a spray of  the oil and then mix it together before applying - it makes the gel less thick and sticky which is great for my fine hair!
