Bright ideas in lipgloss - LuMESH, GOSH, Chanel, Dior and Avon!

I love it when cosmetic companies do clever things with my makeup's packaging - especially when it solves an important global issue!  For instance, now that Ann Landers says that it's okay to apply my lipgloss at the table after a meal, how do I do that with no mirror?  Up to now I've been using my knife or some other reflective surface but the clever people at LuMESH have solved the problem by incorporating a mirror right on the tube!  LuMESH lipgloss - $24 - comes in 5 colours:  Kalie - nude with a touch of peach, Magaly - nude but better, Min - sexy pink, Trischa - goldish pink or Sheila - copper.  They are fragrance and flavour free and contain Vitamin E and a mild lip plumper.  I didn't experience any of the burning associated with lip plumpers so there must be a very small amount.  I like the coverage and I like that formula isn't too slippy which makes it last longer.  Christelle likes her gloss smoother and she found it sticky so I guess it's a matter of taste.  The colours are all quite neutral so wearable by pretty much anyone.  You can find LuMESH at various stores across the US and online for everyone.  You can check out their website - www.lumesh.com for more info and to buy.
On the other hand, GOSH is concerned that you won't be able to reapply you lipgloss while you are out clubbing - GOSH Light 'N' Shine Lip Glaze - $15 - not only has a mirror but also a light in the cap that turns on when you unscrew it!  It comes in a bunch of fun colours which are all very sparkly - so this is probably not the right product to be reapplying at the table after lunch with your future mother in law - unless she likes clubbing too...  Available at Shoppers Drug Mart.

And from bright lipgloss ideas, we move to bright lipgloss - but not really!  We all know bright lipgloss is the trend right now but for lots of people, wearing something that eye catching on your mouth is a little daunting!  Chanel's summer collection contains two glosses that look shockingly bright in the tube, but on your lips have almost no colour at all!  Gloss Fluo - $33 - Laser or Pop add a hint of colour and a lot of shine!  They are limited edition though, so if you love 'em, buy 'em!

Same idea from Dior Addict Crystal Gloss - $31 - it looks very pink in the tube but on your lips will turn a shade tailor made for you!  A Sephora only limited edition.
If your looking for something a little more affordable, then try Avon Glazewear Summer Sheers Lip Gloss $5.99 - they come in 4 tropical shades:  Sheer Kiss - pink, Sheer Royalty - purple, Sheer Sunrise - orange (all shown here) as well as Sheer Envy - green.  Funky looking in the tube, sheer on the lips and you will sparkle with the glitter.  The glitter actually sticks around after the gloss has worn off so keep that in mind when kissing the boyfriend!  Available through your Avon rep 1-800-265-AVON or online at www.avon.ca
