Fans of the Marni clothing line will be thrilled to know that there is now a Marni fragrance. With a classic scent that is far from traditional and not the least bit girly but rather plays with classic elements in unexpected ways. It combines ethereal spices and eclectic, raw woods, creating a statement that is both elusive and uniquely memorable - with top notes of bergamot, pepper, ginger and pink peppercorn; heart notes of cardamom, rose and cinnamon bark; and base notes of patchouli, incense, vetiver and cedarwood.All I can say is that it's unlike anything I've ever smelled before - not in a bad way mind you, just really unique! It's one of those scents that you really need to spray on and then walk around for awhile to let it develop. I liked it on the blotter paper but hated it when I first tried it on myself, it just smelled off. But once I let it settle for a few minutes it totally meshed with my chemistry and smelled so good on me that I even had several people comment on it and ask me what I was wearing!
