Fragrant Friday - sizzling summer scents from Calvin Klein!

CK One Summer - 100ml EDT - $58 - captures a splash of cool refreshment on a hot summer day at the beach. a blend of cucumber, water lotus and driftwood creates a refreshing scent that can be worn by both men and women. With top notes of: blue mint, cucumber, and a citrus twist of lime; heart notes of dewy water lotus and a fresh watery accord imparts a fluid sensation around aromatic rosemary and crisp green apple; and base notes of  smooth rum cocktail, creamy sandalwood, driftwood and sensual sea moss.

Normally the CK One Summer is one of my favourite summer fragrances because I find it to be super citrusy! This year's edition however seems less citrus-like to me than ones from years past, so it's not my fave.
Eternity Summer - 100ml EDP - $72 -  a fresh floral fruity that captures the drama of a summer sunset, as it illuminates the sky and glistens across the ocean..
With top notes of: sunny orange blossom, sparkling sicilian bergamot and japanese pear martini accord; heart notes of hydroponic gardenia, white peony petals and blue hyacinth; and base notes of white musks, tonka bean and heliotrope.

On the other hand, I don't normally like Eternity Summer at all finding it way too floral. This year's has enough fruity to it though that I am liking it a lot - it smells fresh, feminine and summery!

Eternity for Men Summer - 100ml EDT - $72 - this watery fresh fougère embodies both the tranquility and romantic sensation when the warm, summer sun meets the ocean horizon.
With top notes of roman chamomile, living lush melon and juniper berry; heart notes of cedar leaf, mimosa, hyacinth and violet leaf; and base notes of guaiac wood, amber, patchouli and musk.

All are limited edition and available in drug and department stores now.

  2. I love summer editions. The first one sounds interesting. I wonder how the mint will smell like mixed in with cucumbers lime and sandalwood.
