Smashbox Image Factory Fall 2012 Makeup Collection

I've been waiting ages for my Shoppers to get the fall Smashbox in and now that I've finally had a chance to see it (and play with it) in person all I can say is - it was worth the wait!
Photo-Op Eye Shadow Palette - $44 - each contains six ultra-blendable, richly pigmented velvety eyeshadows in the season's hottest shades that are crease and fade resistant as well as a double-ended eyeshadow brush. In two shade collections: Icon offers shades for a smokey and dramatic eye: Alabaster, Thunder, Blackout, Roast, Black Currant and Seafoam. While Muse is more neutral: Russet, Truffle, Bare, Sandstorm, Juniper and Sumatra.

I love both of these palettes and am hard pressed to pick my favourite - Muse would be more wearable for everyday but Icon is just so damned pretty... only thing to do is get them both of course...!
Waterproof Shadow Liner - $25 - in 2 shades: Shimmering Charcoal and Metallic Bronze - a creamy, mistake-proof shadow liner for effortless lining and defining with a versatile formula that offers soft definition in one quick step - smudge as a liner or blend as a shadow for easy all-over colour.

I am so impressed with the creamy texture of this liner - just don't wait too long if you want to smudge it, once it sets it's not going anywhere!
Airbrush Whipped Cheek Colour - $33 - in two shades: Dusty Rose and Berry Bliss - a lightweight blush that gives cheeks a naturally radiant glow with ultra-fine pigments that make for easy blending and silicone elastomers that diminish imperfections with a mousse-like formula that delivers an instant airbrushed effect.

These have a beautiful texture that easily blends - don't be scared by how bright they look in the pot, it's much less intense on your skin!

Gloss Duo - $28 - in two shade duos: Fab/Snappy and Luxe/Chic - that offer a bright berry or rose paired with a nude - use alone or mix together with their ultra-cushiony applicator.

These were a disappointment for me - love the colours, hate the formula - when it feels that sticky on the back of my hand I know I will hate it on my lips!

Find the collection now at Shoppers Drug Mart, Murale and Sephora.
