I got the Back to Basics palette -- it's a Naked dupe!
ReplyDeleteOmg so much stuff, i want to get them all o-O. And the back to basics palette looks like naked1 dupe and the bags WOW just wow . I wish i was rich so i would buy all the collection for my self and my sisters
ReplyDeleteThe Back to Basics palette was a let down. The pigmentation is horrible and wears off so fast! It goes on better wet and stays on longer that way too but that makes it less blendable. I bought this palette so I could avoid spending the $60.00 plus tax on the Naked or Naked 2 palettes from Urban Decay but I still think I will purchase it.
ReplyDeleteI was looking forward to buying the Back to Basics palette with my Christmas gift cards I knew I'd be getting...all the Shoppers in my city are sold out! I bought the modesty collection palette instead and was slightly disappointed by the shades included...lots of blues, which is only nice if you have blue eyes (in my opinion, I only wear blue eyeshadow when I have in blue circle lens, otherwise it looks terrible on my green/hazel eyes) and I was disappointed with the neutral colours included in this kit. Too much shimmer, and not enough basic colours that would be good for highlighting. I only swatched a couple shades and was not impressed with the level of pigmentation...about on par with my cheapie e.l.f. palette. The lip glosses were surprisingly pigmented but sticky. I was excited about the liquid liner but it is a black wash....very poor pigmentation and formula, which was disappointing because their regular formula is nice (but I hate the sponge applicator). All in all....not sure if I'm happy about buying this yet.

ReplyDeletePrincess Peaches. I have green eyes. I tried blue eyeshadow and I was amazed at how much it suited! :D I thought it would only be good for blue!
