Grey and green glosses - sound weirder than they actually look? MAC Borealis and Lancôme Green Petal swatches!

I will admit, when buying lipgloss I tend to stick to normal colours like pink and red - never before have I worn something grey or green! I wouldn't want anyone to accuse me of being unadventurous though and really, I'll try just about anything once!
The MAC Daphne Guinness collection includes a Cremesheen Glass in Borealis, a pale grey pink with iridescent pearl - this pic is a reminder to me that I should avoid light colours with pearl in them, they just don't flatter my pale skin!
The Lancôme La Roseraie des Délices Spring 2012 collection has a tender green Color Fever Gloss in 386 Green Petal - which I quite like, you would never know that it was green when you see it on your lips - it doesn't really show as much of a colour at all but it has a nice shine and sparkle to it!

Would I do it again? Sure why not! What are your thoughts on oddly coloured lipwear?

  1. I think it's fun to play around with the color illusions - the pearl in gray and the juicy effect of the green! I really want the lancome one now, thanks for sharing!
