This week I'm obsessed with... Super by Dr. Nicholas Perricone

I've been checking out a new line lately - Super by Dr. Nicholas Perricone is a new skincare line containing specific foods that have a superpower effect on the skin, encouraging healthy aging and overall radiance. These foods contain the highest concentration of phytochemicals, plant-based chemicals that activate age-fighting processes, triggering a positive effect of gene expression - which means they turn off the genes that prematurely age us and turn on the genes that fight it. Dr. Perricone's research proved that when these phytonutrients are extracted, concentrated and stabilized for topical application, they assist cellular repair function, offer anti-inflammatory benefit and prevent the skin's natural aging process.

Products available in the line are:

Sweet Clean Face & Eye Cleanser - 118ml - $32 - purifies, hydrates and soothes - with Acai Berry - unsurpassed in antioxidant potency improves all over skin health.

Intrigued but can't decide what product to try first then check out the Skin Nutrition Kit - $70 - which contains Sweet Clean, Bright Eyed and O-Mega Moisture. I've been using these 3 products for the last couple of months and not only do the products feel great, they smell really nice too! I'm especially taken with Sweet Clean - I like how it gently cleans without stripping my skin and the scent is fruity and delicious!

I  can also appreciate that the products are all free of parbens, propylene glycol, mineral oil, phthalates, sulfates, synthetic dyes and fragrances. When possible, they are also free of silicones and PEG's

  1. Have you noticed any improvements in your skin? I have been wanting to try these products but they are a bit expensive.

  2. I picked up the Skin Nutrition Kit as well. I haven't started using it yet though. I want the Coconut Quench Hydrating Mist as well, but I haven't seen it anywhere other than the official super website.

  3. I don't know if I would say I see improvements since all the ones I am trying are pretty basic products - but I will say the cleanser does a great job getting rid of dirt and makeup and the moisturizer makes my skin very soft if that helps at all!

    Best, Lisamarie
