La Couleur Infallible Eye Shadow in Goldmine (new colour in stores now) and Permanent Kaki - the green isn't quite as intense as in the pic but I'm marking that down to the wonders of digital enhancement. I did find that when I wet the eye shadow, it did go on brighter so that's what I ended up doing at the edges to bring out the green.
Lineur Intense Felt Tip in Carbon Black and
Voluminous Million Lashes Mascara in Blackest Black complete the eye look.
For the lips I used a bottom layer of Infallible Le Rouge Lipcolour in Ravishing Red followed by a layer of Always Apricot and finally a touch of Colour Riche Le Gloss in Naturally Nude mixed with a bit of the Goldmine eye shadow.
Three great tips that I got from Eddie Malter, the official makeup artist for L'Oréal for applying the metallic shadows which I found to be a bit tricky before using his suggestions:
1. Apply metallic eye makeup before foundation - as it tends to fall, it saves you having to apply your foundation twice!
2. Use a tapping motion when applying - for even and smooth application delicately tap the colour into your lid with the brush vs. a traditional sweeping motion.
3. Wet your makeup brush to increase colour intensity or to use it as an eyeliner!

ReplyDeleteTry using the Infallible in Emerald Lamé instead of Permanent Kaki! It's brighter, greener and more golden!
ReplyDeleteA-ha! I knew there must be a trick! I don't remember seeing this one when I was looking, is it part of the permanent collection or will I find it on a pre-pack?
