This week I'm obsessed with... Marc Anthony Easy-Lites!

Remember when we used to use Sun In or lemon juice to lighten our hair or give us highlights  -and how, unless your hair was the perfect shade to compliment the product, it would turn your hair a sickly orange...? Good times!

Fortunately, things have improved in the lightening world and there is a product out there now meant for all hair textures and colours - including colour treated  - I was a little skeptical - "all hair colours" does not generally include redheads so when I tried it, I expected it to either do nothing or do something horrible (I had a box of hair colour ready just in case) but it really did lighten my red hair to a lovely coppery colour!

Mark Anthony Easy-Lites - 90ml - $11.99 - if you are all about immediate gratification you are going to love this! All you do is spray it on and flat iron for instant results - the more you flat iron, the more lift the colour gets which makes it easy for you to control how light you want to take things!

With chamomile flower - nature's hair lightener; hydrogen peroxide - to lift your hair to its next shade level with each pass of the flat iron for natural looking highlights no matter what your hair colour; and a concentrated fruit acid complex - bilberry, sugar cane, sugar maple, orange and lemon - which contains naturally occurring alpha hydroxy acids to promote smooth, healthy looking hair.

Use it for highlights with your flat iron or allover lightening with your blow dryer - either way, you can look forward to easy (non-orange) lightening!

Available now at Shoppers Drug Mart, Pharmaprix, Loblaws, Walmart and other grocery, drug and mass stores.

    1. I know right?! Just keep in mind that with dark hair you are still going to go more of a copper shade than blonde, but it won't be the ugly orange you usually get with dark hair!

it worked for my hair, it turned it like yeep, a lovely coppery colour! really please with it, just worried if it damaged my hair & i didnt notice... anyways, It got on my skin, bleached my skin a bit & stinged a bit. ( I'm asian - filipino - so my skin is quite tan. My hair is like reaaaalllly dark brown, close to black but not quite. ) I've never died my hair permanetly before so :) really happy with the results!
