Crème Riche Body Butter Doesn't Smell Like Teen Spirit - although that might be an improvement...

I'm torn. On one hand Crème Riche from L'Art du Soin is probably the creamiest body butter I've ever tried, it even reminds me of the homemade yogurts my mama used to make for us. But on the other hand, I have a couple of issues with this product.
The positive:  It is rich and creamy yet not at all greasy and is absorbed rather quickly. It's probably not the cream I would pick for a cold Canadian winter as it could be a little more moisturizing but this butter looks like a delicious pot of crème fraîche you want to slather all over. Who could resist it? So what is my problem then? Well...I hate the smell. I absolutely hate the Ancient Byzantium inspired damask rose scent. This heavy floral note makes this rich butter smell like my grandma's beauty products from 1985. The price is pretty hefty ($90/200ml) so for that kind of money you would be better off with Jo Malone's Vitamin E Body Balm (review to come this week from Lisamarie).

L'Art du Soin line from Diptyque is available at Holt Renfrew in Canada.
