Lancôme Génifique Youth Activator Concentrate - the fountain of youth?

I was at Sephora yesterday and saw a poster for the new Lancôme Génifique Cream Serum and realized that I owed you a Lancôme review so here it is:
Lancôme Génifique Youth Activator Concentrate - 30ml - $92 - I know I mentioned it months ago and then failed to follow up with my review of it - a million apologies - this is the downside to being a product whore, so many beautiful products, so little time!  But better late then never right?  And it would be a shame to miss out on this one because I loved it!

First off, the bottle is very elegant looking, like something you would see sitting on a fancy dressing table.  It has a dropper applicator which I don't mind in a face serum.

The science behind this serum:  your genes produce specific proteins that can be found on your skins surface, as you age their presence diminishes.  This serum revives the gene's activity and stimulates the production of youth proteins.

I have no idea if my youth protein production is up, but I do know that it made my skin look great!  My skin is much softer, looks clearer and also brighter.  The product didn't cause any irritation or break outs, which in my books makes it a big winner! I am very interested to check out the cream serum which launches here in April, this totally appeals to my inherent laziness to have a serum and a moisturizer all together in one bottle!

  2. It was to me but everyone has their own comfort level for what they will pay for skin care. Can you put a price on beauty? ;-)

  6. Sci-fi cosmetic! If this can do to activate gene in part of yr body or skin, then it shoud be drug and pass thru processes of drug tests and approval!
This is misleading and cheating. Just for l'oreal to get richer by sucking (extra) cash from (fool and dreamy) women around the world!
