Burt's Bees wants to save the earth and your lips!

Earth Day is almost upon us and things at Burt's Bees have been buzzing.  BB and Disney have teamed up to help protect Canada's wetlands and water.  For every limited edition Burt's Bees/Disneynature lip balm purchased, Burt's Bees Canada will make a $1 donation to the Nature Conservatory of Canada, to help fund the protection of our country's rivers, lakes, wetlands, forests, grasslands, estuaries and oceans. How will the money be used by NCC? The money will help to protect places such as the “Galapagos of the North”. Haida Gwaii on the Pacific Coast of British Columbia, the Frenchman River Watershed in Saskatchewan and the Bay of Fundy in New Brunswick, as well as help fund aquatic research in places like the Great Lakes.

Disney's "Oceans" will be opening April 22, 2010 and offers an unprecedented  look beneath the sea captured by the latest underwater technologies.

And while you are feeling the Burt - head on over to www.findyourburt.com where you can either use your webcam or a downloaded picture of yourself and get burtified!  You don't have to move to a converted turkey coop but you sure can have a gnarly beard.  Save your picture and head on over to the gallery page on Facebook here and post your pic!
I couldn't find a decent picture of myself so used my Mad Men avatar - this works excellently as the beard now hides my cigarette and I'll now be able to smoke in public places (no lectures, I don't really smoke but my icon does - it was the 50s)!
