If you are going to consume 6 pounds of lipstick in your lifetime, Cherry Crush Cosmetics wants to make sure it's natural

I love lipstick, I also love bacon so I may not be the prime demographic for Cherry Crush Cosmetics whos claim to fame is a natural, vegan lipstick.  I may not look for vegan when it comes to lipstick, but I sure do look for a moisturizing, long lasting and creamy formula and this is where Cherry Crush cinches it for me.

For those of you not familiar with Cherry Crush, it's a Canadian company based in London, Ontario.  It was started because they wanted to offer a natural and affordable alternative to lipsticks filled with potentially harmful chemicals.  All the lipstick is made in small batches and never sold through third parties in order to maintain the freshness of the product.

The Nature Deluxe Lipstick is offered in the traditional tube and also as a 3 colour palette with adorable names like Cupcake and The Roses.  There are 18 colours available - as a single tube or if you choose not to get one of the available palettes, any 3 colours of your choice can be combined into the Nature Deluxe Pallette.  Each well contains the equivalent of a full sized lipstick so this is a great space saving choice, 3 lipsticks that will fit into the palm of your hand!  They will also flavour the palette with your choice of flavour and you can even name it and they will label it for you (I'm sensing Christelle's birthday present is coming from here "Lipstick fit for a bitch" catchy, no?)  All this for $14.99.  Single lipsticks are $8.99.  They ship to Canada and the US with standard shipping for free

What I like most is the texture of the product - it really is very creamy and moisturizing!  But knowing that they contain organic jojoba oil, cocoa butter, apricot kernel oil, grape seed oil and vitamin E, it's hardly surprising.  I'm also very happy with the staying power,  I usually find long wearing colours too drying and if they aren't drying they aren't long wearing.  A terrible catch-22, but not with Cherry Crush.  Great pigmentation, great staying power, great hydration, great gads, I sound gushy!  I highly recommend you try!

  1. Wow! That definitely sounds perfect. I'm not really a lipstick person--mostly because I have very dry lips and found that most of the lipsticks I have tried have been very drying. Maybe this is what I've been looking for. :) Thanks for the review!!!

  2. I agree, that's why I've always been more of a lipgloss girl! If you do try, let me know what you think!

    Best, Lisamarie
