Priti Nail Polish: It's Priti Good

Priti has only been around since 2005 but this line of non-toxic, organic nail polish, created by the model Kim D'amato, is heavily featured in the New York Fashion week (Carlos Miele, Isaac Mizrahi, Donna Karan, Tommy Hilfiger, just to name a few) and I can see why. I tried the s. temple peony, a very light cream nail polish ($12.50) - without a base coat or a top coat- yes I'm a bad girl, I know! The result was still good: I only had a couple of chipped nails after 3 days! Trust me, compared to my usual nail polish, this is good stuff. The texture of this nail polish is lighter than a classic one, so you will definitely need a couple of coats if not more for the darker shades.

That being said, this nail polish is super glossy and I love the large color selection, which is very much for the runway. My favorite color is Time's rose, a bright red orange, which will look perfect in the summer with my tan. Oh hold on, I forgot, I already have a permanent tan.

If you use nail polish on a regular basis, I would definitely recommend this line as it is very gentle and does not stain your nails. To purchase Priti products, including nail polish for kids and an organic Soy polish remover, check their points of sale on their website.
