Cleansing Cloths - Quo, Marcelle, Neutrogena and Clean & Clear

Quo - make-up remover wipes - 30 wipes - $10 - alcohol free with vitamins A, C & D for face, eyes and lips.  Hypoallergenic for all skin types including sensitive skin.  They come in the usual plastic packet but this one has a plastic opening that snaps closed which I like much more then the sticker closure that is on most of them.  The cloths are a good size and very lightly textured with a fresh smell.  Available at Shoppers Drug Mart.  www.shoppersdrugmart.ca

Marcelle - Essentials - face cleansing cloths - 25 cloths - $10.50 (but if you act fast, they might still have some double packs left where you get two packs of 25 cloths for $15.95) - hypo-allergenic, perfume free, oil free and alcohol free.  Thick, soft and generously sized, they are safe and comfortable for sensitive eyes and contact lens wearers.

These ones felt good and had no smell at all.  I liked that they were big enough to cover my whole face in one go

Neutrogena - All-in-one make-up removing cleansing wipes - 25 wipes - $12.99 - removes all types of face, lip and eye make-up, even waterproof mascara.  Oil and alcohol free.  Big plus - the pack comes with an expiry date.
Did a really good job of removing all of my makeup, even my waterproof eyeliner.  No smell to speak of.

Clean & Clear makeup dissolving facial cleansing wipes - 25 wipes - $9.99 - oil free and safe for contact lens wearers.  These were my least favourite.  They have a weird smell to them that I can't put my finger on and I didn't find they did a very good job of makeup removal, I had to wash my face again afterwards to get it all off.

  2. i'm with you on the c&c, it wasn't very effective. right now i'm using neutrogena deep clean cleansing wipes but i think it might be a little too harsh for my skin.

i think i'll try the top 3 after i've run out of my current wipes. thanks for the info!

  3. Hi Dani, I was looking at the deep clean wipes when I bought the other Neutrogena ones - do the deep clean ones have alcohol?

  4. Thanks for the reviews! The Neutrogena one sounds great for travel, especially when I'm wearing my waterproof Lash Blast.
