Acqua Di Gioia - EDP - 30ml - $55, 50ml - $70, 100ml - $95 - Having heard this fragrance described as a "floral", when I saw Acqua di Gioia sitting on a display at my local Shoppers this weekend, I had very little interest in it - I'm not a floral kind of girl at all - but of course it's new so I couldn't not pick it up and try it! Having now smelled it, I'm going to have to change my tune and apologize for being a floral hater. When I sprayed it on me I did smell the floral notes but as it dried down and sat for awhile, that aspect of it faded and it ended up smelling very fresh, kind of green and a little sweet. Having now read what the notes are it makes sense: crushed mint, zest of Italian "limone primo fiore femminello", water jasmine, cedarwood heart, brown sugar and labdanum.
This is the kind of fragrance that is unoffensive and will have mass appeal so I can see it making its way into a lot of Christmas stockings this year - keep it in mind of you have someone hard to shop for on your list and of course - pick one up for yourself!
