Jurlique's Purifying Mask: Mud Rocks!

Jurlique's purifying mask is my latest treasure to fight against my oily skin. This organic mask is paraben free and is rich in natural clay, it helps with removing impurities as well as dead skin cells. So when you put it on, it really looks like you're spreading  mud over your face. The instructions tell you to spread an even layer but because the mask itself is lumpy, it's not the easiest thing to do... and it's not necessary. You may end up using too much product and this mask is so efficient, you really don't need to. It dries quickly on your face and you can leave it on for 10 minutes.

I can't quite decide if I like the smell or not. This mask has a distinctive herbal scent as it contains organic ingredients like chamomile, grape seed, daisy, violet, licorice and even carrot! But does it work? Yes, absolutely. Once I rinsed it off, my skin was soft and didn't feel tight at all. I liked that it removes excess oil but is still gentle.

At $45, this mask is not cheap, but it's worth the splurge since good masks for oily skin are quite rare out there! You can find Jurlique's products at Sephora.
