Mascara Monday - your faves from Mary Kay, Avon and Revlon go waterproof!

Summer is the perfect time to switch over to a waterproof formula of your favourite mascara - between swimming, humidity and all those summer weddings there are many opportunities to look like a raccoon so let's just not okay...?

I've given you links to swatches of the original formula where they exist - I didn't think there was any point in swatching the waterproof one and then throwing a bucket of water on myself!

Mary Kay Lash Love Waterproof Mascara - $21 - available in: I ♥ Black and I ♥ Brown - it features a flexible, sculpted brush that separates and coats even fine, hard-to-reach lashes. Lashes appear fuller, lifted and multiplied, while looking naturally flawless, soft and healthy with no stiff spots or clumps. If  you're looking for definition and volume without being a clumpy mess, you'll love this mascara - I offer the same caution with this one that I did with the non-waterproof version - don't try and force it to volumize or it just ends up being clumpy - so no more than 2 or 3 coats!

Available exclusively from your Mary Kay Beauty Consultant - find your very own on their website - www.marykay.ca or call 1-866-455-5454.

Avon SuperExtend Extreme Waterproof Mascara - $9.99 - with a mega length brush that uses flexible lash-hugging bristles combined with precision comb bristles to build extra long lashes and a formula with magnetic fibers to instantly attract lashes and extend them to extreme new lengths.

You can check out swatches here: http://www.beautycrazed.ca/2012/03/mascara-monday-avon-super-extend.html

Available from your Avon rep - 1-800-265-AVON or online at www.avon.ca
Revlon PhotoReady 3D Volume Waterproof - $9.95 - in blackest black and blackened brown - with a unique ultra reflective Mirror Sheen formula that smoothes, reflects and magnifies every lash for dramatic, professional looking lashes. The lash finding brush with rounded tip easily reaches every single lash for maximum dimension.

I haven't tried this one in either its original or waterproof form but I know lots of your are Revlon mascara fans so you'll have to tell me how it is!
