Test driving Yves Saint Laurent Forever Youth Liberator! and the Contest continues!

In my last post we learned all about Glycobiology and its effects on skin aging so I thought this would be a good time to introduce you to the products that I am using (which are also the contest prize) and how I am liking them:

Forever Youth Serum - 30ml - $155 - has the highest concentration of Glycanacif in the range to stimulate regeneration deep within the skin and boost youth-promoting functions.

I loves me a serum and this one is really nice. You only have to use a small amount to cover the whole face and it soaks in so nicely and leaves the skin feeling smooth - no greasiness, no stickiness!

Forever Youth SPF 15 Cream - 50ml - $155 - a protective cream with a rich, creamy texture suitable for all skin types. Bursting with a moisturizing agent and with mirror-effect pink micro-shimmer particles to leave skin looking radiant and supple as soon as it's applied.

While I like the texture and feel of this cream this is something that I would be more likely to wear during colder weather. I've been applying it very sparingly and it doesn't seem to be making my skin greasy but had it been my choice, I would have gone with the Fluid from the line instead.

Forever Youth Eye Cream - 30ml - $155 - with a stretch texture designed to re-contour eyelid volumes as soon as it is applied. In addition to Glycanactif, it contains draining ingredients to refresh and relax the eye area, as well as mirror-effect micro-shimmer particles and blurring spheres for smoothing and illuminating effect - for eyes that appear fresher and more radiant.

This is the star product for me and will be staying in my rotation even after the trial is done! The blurring spheres are genius and really perk me up when I'm looking tired (always)!

What I find unusual (in a good way) is the scent. Fancy creams usually have strong (floral) scents but this one doesn't. The scent is very subtle and pleasant which for me is far preferable to feeling like you are moisturizing with a pot full of flowers!

Stay tuned, I'll be back on the 22nd with my results from the products and the contest winner!

And of course the contest continues - if you already entered on the first post you are welcome to enter and tweet again and will count as extra entries:

my go-to face product is definitely a bb cream! it is lightweight, adds a nice light coverage with pore minimization, and it moisturizes too!

And my go to is definitely sunscreen! I use it as a moisturizer/primer and of course to protect my skin from sunburn/damage/wrinkles! So I love all products that have SPF in them :)
