shu uemura - was beautifying the Oscars - one star at a time.

Hollywood makeup artists were super busy Sunday night getting their clients red carpet ready - with a little help from shu uemura.

Makeup Artist, Jillian Dempsey used Glow On in Peach 45 - $29 - for Kirsten Stewart's pretty flushed look.

Although why someone who is sleeping with Robert Pattinson and hanging out with Taylor Lautner would need help glowing (or smiling for that matter) - I have no idea...just sayin'...

And while she was at it, Jillian Dempsey also used Glow On but in Pink 31 - $29 - on Kate Winslet (Kate's not sleeping with Edward so I'm okay with her getting a little help).

Paula Patton already had her own pregnancy glow thing going on so Makeup Artist Mylah Morales cleansed Paula's skin with shu Cleansing Oil Brightening Advanced 450ml - $89, 150ml - $40, and then used Face Powder Matte in Colorless - $43 - to set the foundation and finished things off with Depsea Water Spray - $30 - to set the makeup.

Makeup Artist Molly Stern gave Maggie Gyllenhaal her glowing look by prepping the skin with shu Red Juvenus Intese Vitalizing Concentrate - $98. She then blended pressed eye shadow in P Brown 810  - $27.50 - into the crease and lastly she lightly dusted  pressed eye shadow in ME brown 860 - $27.50 - all over the lid for a golden finish.

Zoe Saldana might have worn my choice for ugliest dress, but I can't fault her makeup - Makeup Artist Vera Steimberg decided it was all about the eyes for Zoe and used the amazing shu uemura eye lashes in slant black - $27, giving her a little more sophisticated, and feminine look for her eyes. She also used the shu eye lash curler - $23 - and the eye lash applicator - $7.  If you've never tried the shu eye lash curler you have to put it on your "must buy" list, it is that good!

You can get your own star worthy look by visiting the shu uemura counter at Holt Renfrew or online at Sephora.  You can also check out the whole line on shu uemura's website here.
