Dior - something new - Diorshow Extase and something old that is new again - 5 Couleurs Palette!

You know, there are certain cosmetic brands that I love the packaging for so much, I would buy them even if I hated the makeup!  Dior would definitely fall into that group and lucky for me, their makeup is awesome.  I recently found out that Dior has revamped  a favourite of mine the 5 Couleurs eyeshadow palette.  They have a new formula and texture and of course, a couple of new colours.  The first two above are the new ones:  804 - Mystic Smokys - a palette of contemporary smoky shades with a bold violet accent and 004 - Extase Pinks - variations of pink, lilac and pearly gray.
As well, two bestsellers have been revamped:  970 - Stylish Move (above right) - with subtle mauve and pink tones and 790 - Night Dust - offering the ideal combination for subtle smoky eyes.  Two warmer toned bestsellers are also in the works for a revamp: 440 - Sunset Cafe - with balmy earth tones and 030 - Incognito - a mellow harmony based on pink and sand.  As well there will be two more new ones in sunny shades.  The 5 Couleurs palettes retail for $58.

Also new is Diorshow Extase - the first flash plumping mascara for a false lash effect.  I think it sounds amazing, I am always so jealous of the girls in mascara commercials with those giant thick eyelashes!  Extase has a new formula which contains three active ingredients:  Metamorphosis Powder, with a plumping effect, increases in volume upon contact with lases, boosting the volume of lashes by up to 50% on application.  Then Black Pearl Pigments, which owe their name to their spherical shape, create a real 3D volume effect thanks to this specific feature.  Finally, patented SR38, acts like a ceramide with properties worthy of a skincare product, makes it possible to coat, densify, smooth and repair lashes, day after day.

The Extase brush has a tiered cut and is made of a succession of depths, like a series of reservoirs that immediately fill up with mascara.  The brush is composed of a duo of fibers - black elastomeric fibers and a comb effect to style and separate each lash for a panoramic effect as well, supple golden nylon fibers that generously coat each lash for guaranteed excess volume.  Diorshow Extase retails for $34.

I would love to know if anyone has tried them yet and what you think!
