Sally is fun to watch in action except she never stops moving so it's almost impossible to take a picture of her! But I couldn't help but be impressed the results with the model you see here - that's a lot of hair!
The new products are:
Major Body - 170g - $12.99 - a dry volumizing hairspray that builds weightless volume instantly. The more you work the product into the hair, the bigger the style gets and because the hairspray is dry, it doesn't weigh down the hair no matter how much you use. Spray over dry hair and work with hands to build volume, shape and lasting style. Contains flexible styling polymers to build texture and body and ProVitamin B5 replenishes limp hair and gives dry hair weightless nourishment.
I didn't believe that a hairspray could really be dry - I'm so used to wet, sticky ones! I spray this into my roots with my head turned upside down for instant lift and into my hair for extra body. And because it isn't wet or sticky, you can reapply it during the day with no build-up - genius!
Plump Up - 150ml - $12.99 - daily restorative thickening spray with super collagen that plumps every strand with a lightweight mist that provides hair with fullness and nourishment for a healthier and bouncier style. The heat-activated formula transforms the texture and condition of the hair and it's still light enough to be layered with other products without leaving a heavy residue. Spray on towel-dried hair. Contains ginger Root and Pearl extracts to improve texture and inflate the style resulting in softer, fuller hair, Protein Complex to nourish and fortify the hair fiber, heat-activated copolymers to help repair the cuticle and protect the hair from hot tools and a colour protect formula with Rooibos Leaf extract to provide protection against the damaging drying and colour depleting effects of the sun and environmental pollutants.
While I like this one in theory, I don't actually often have time to blow dry my hair in the morning so the whole heat-activated thing is kind of lost on me. On the rare occasion when I do, I have been using this and I can see the difference in how full my hair looks and feels so I am going to dry very hard to find an extra 5 minutes in the morning to use this more often!
For mega volume you'll want to check out Shoppers Drug Mart!

i've tried her "volumizing" products before, didn't work too well... or at all to be exact =p but it worked really well for my mom, maybe my hair's too long... weighed down the volume..
ReplyDeleteI don't know Steph, I think the problem must be you, that model has long hair... ;-)

Hi:
ReplyDeleteI saw your commercial and have been trying to find the hairspray with not success at the Shoppers I have been to so far. I have found some of the other products but no hairspray. Perhpas you can let me know of a store in the Oakville, Burlington, Etobicoke, Mississauga area that carries it.
Thanks,
Are Sally Hershberger products still available at Shoppers Drug Mart? I have been checking here in North Bay and could not find one product by this label. I do like the products, disappointing if Shoppers no longer carries them.
ReplyDeleteI have had a few other people e-mail me with the same complaint - seems to be hit and miss - feel free to e-mail me and let me know what you are looking for, I am happy to take a look around here and see what I can find - info@beautycrazed.ca
