Lise Watier Youthful... Day After Day Challenge - Day 11! Contest!

Day 11 - PHYSICAL HEALTH - Get those legs up!
While seated in your favourite chair, stretch your legs out in front of you in the air, without support.  Hold this position for as long as you can.  Repeat the exercise for 15 minutes, resting between leg raises.

What kind of crazy sadists work at Lise Watier anyhow?!  Are they aware that this freaking exercise hurts!  I struggled through it by thinking of above pictured cupcake and how when my 15 minutes were up, I was going to bite it's head off!  The pain made it extra delicious!  Two points to consider before undertaking this challenge:  1) rolling chairs don't work so well and 2) if you do it at work, make sure your boss is not around - mine looked at me like I'm a crazy person and didn't seem to understand when I told him I was earning a cupcake...

  3. I did this -- great exercise I will definitely do it again --- even while I am watching tv in the evening so I don't feel so much like a couch potato.

  6. How about starting with 15 leg up sessions and then work myself up to 3 minutes and so and so forth... :-) Good compromise, will certainly try it tomorrow morning. Bedtime right now.

  8. Thank-you, for the "do anywhere" exercise. Any, idea what muscle groups benefit from this exercise?? I hope you will post more do anywhere exercises...
    Fifteen minutes was excessive though...
