Kim Kardashian is bringing good scents to The Shopping Channel!

While y'all were having a sandwich for lunch, I was hanging with my new BFF, Kim Kardashian who is in Toronto for the Canadian launch of her self named fragrance on The Shopping Channel.  Unlike many celebrity fragrances where I suspect the closest the celebrity gets to the actual scent is their picture on the package, Kim was very involved in the whole process - from picking the notes, right down to personally designing the bottle.  You can tell when she talks about it that the two year process has been a labour of love for her.  She described the scent to me as all of her favourite memories in a bottle.  There is tuberose which reminds her of the fragrance her mom always wears, gardenia which was her dad's favourite flower and jasmine for the jasmine flowers she used to grow on the balcony of her first condo.  She describes the fragrance as trendy, feminine with just a little bit of edge.  She also said that she would love to do a second one and make it totally different as she likes to wear different fragrances depending on the time of day.

Kim is only the second celebrity I've ever met and it really is true what they say - celebrities seem smaller in person!  She is tiny and really the cutest thing ever!  She probably thinks I'm insane because the whole time we were talking I couldn't help but stare at her eyelashes, they are super long and curly!  We talked about her favourite places to shop and I found out that she has minimal shopping patience so gets most of her clothes from D-A-S-H the boutique she co-owns with her sisters, which makes finding things easy as they order clothes for the store that they like to wear themselves.  And of course I wanted to know about her favourite cosmetic brands - she was a little cagey about it which makes me wonder if there might not be a Kim Kardashian cosmetic line in her future?  Here's what she finally named as some of her faves: Clé de Peau concealer, LipFusion gloss, MAC eyeshadow, Smashbox bronzer and Make Up For Ever HD Microfinish powder.
