The Pakistan Fashion Week Defies Taliban' and...Ends Well!

This event, which had to be rescheduled twice because of security threats, openly defied the Taliban's strict adherence to veils and other lovely outfits such as the Burqa. The runway collections were a mix of traditional designs and edgier outfits. Leather, bras and legs were clearly on display , but the designers still kept it demure. Obviously, many designs are too traditional for my western taste but I was fairly impressed by the creativity on display and the models who looked so mysterious and naturally sexy...not bad, not bad!
